Missing Masters sheds some light

Chris Masters presents the 2010 Manning Clark Lecture.
A great speech from arguably one of Australia's finest investigative journalists.

"I can think of no more conspicuous failure of contemporary media than in the treatment of Global Warming. Time again you see the objective is to cast heat rather than light. It is another subject that is to be exploited rather than explained."

"Opinions are dangerous without an underpinning of facts."

"The ABC will not be fortified by weakened opposition"

Chris Masters, 2010 (11th) Manning Clark Lecture, National Library Canberra, 14 March, 2010.

Chris Masters left the ABC in 2008, his absence is noticeable.
